Whether you’re experiencing the baby blues, postpartum anxiety, depression, D-MER, birth trauma, or rage —

it is so important to seek out mental health support and resources.

Around 1 in 7 women develop postpartum depression.

Over 50% do not get treated.

Postpartum Support International is one of the best resources for direct support for postpartum moms and dads.

Many parents (moms as well as dads) also find it helpful to join a support group (locally or online) and/or finding a therapist.

It can be SO overwhelming to try and find help in the throes of your postpartum days, which can often delay getting connected to support. Online resources like Better Help can help match you with a therapist, or you should be able to get a list of local therapists from your OB or GP’s office, or through your insurance website.
